Patient Day 2012 - Beating Bowel Cancer Together, Saturday 28 April
Patient Day 2012 aims to empower patients to meet the challenges they face and encourage a wider public awareness about bowel cancer. It will celebrate patients' achievements and give the opportunity to learn more about living as normal a life as possible, for as long as possible. The event is free to attend.

Shropshire and District IA member Kay Shinton, whose ileo-anal
pouch
is set to celebrate its 21st birthday, has launched 'The 21Kay Appeal' aiming to
raise £21,000 for 21 years of care which has kept her, and continues to keep her,
alive. Money raised will go towards buying diagnostic equipment for the detection
of bowel cancer and other serious bowel conditions.
